A&R Talent Finding: Mavi & Diani (10/24)

This project served as an exercise in A&R Talent finding and development. The first Artist, Mavi, is an artist I argued could be signed with little to no development. Producer Presentation: Mejiwahn

I researched an Oakland-based produced dubbed Mejiwahn and conceptualized potential pairings with musicians that mesh well with this existing, trademark sound.

Album Analysis: The Velvet Underground & Nico (11/24)

My team and I were tasked with analyzing an iconic album from the 1960s. The Velvet Underground & Nico was an unexpected choice for some; however, we maintain that it paved the way for the creation of punk rock and normalized the symbiotic relationship between rock and visual art due to their relationship with Andy Warhol, making it an essential piece of cultural capital for music business professionals.
